As Summer rolls by and Autumn looms its head around the corner, many will start thinking about suitable recipes for the season. We aren’t quite ready to accept that Summer is almost over. And, to that end, we present to you three gluten free dessert recipes which we think you’ll really enjoy. They’re all easy recipes to conquer, although the compote can be a bit fiddly if you want the glasses to look good.
Have you been busy over Summer making desserts you think should be on this list? We’d love for you to shoot us an email to enquiries at buyglutenfreedirect.com.au with your picture and recipe. We’ll be happy to send a surprise gift to anyone who has their recipe published on our website!
1. Mud Cake Dessert Pizza
We recently tried this recipe for the first time. You can bake the base using a Well and Good mud cake mix, it takes about 20 minutes to bake. Then you’re ready to get creative. Fruits work really well as they look amazing and also offer some nutritional benefits. Alternatively, go for a simpler option without the icing and maybe just add a berry compote and some cream.

2. Custard and Berry Compote
This recipe is lovely as the creamy taste of the custard pairs deliciously with the compote. If taste is your main concern, then simply pile in the layers and enjoy a symphony of flavours in your mouth! If you want the layers to look really neat and uniform then it will take a little longer to get it looking just right.

3. Pomegranate and Raspberry Pancakes
You can really make these at any time of day: perfect for breakfast, lunch or desserts. This is a great option is you’re looking for less sugar in your diet. The pancakes are low in sugar although keep in mind that adding lots of toppings drives us the sugar content.
